Ban on Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, Rajasthan for offering

Programmes in Online Mode

It is for the information of the general public and all the concerned stakeholders that

the Commission in its 578" Meeting held on 13'" March, 2024 has decided as under, in

respect of Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, Rajasthan: -

“The HEI shall be debarred / banned from offering Online Programmes for the

next five academic sessions beginning from July-August 2024 and no

application shall be considered for the academic year 2024-25 and 2025-26 to

offer programmes in Online mode, even under “Entitled” Category.”

It is further informed that, since the materialisation of University Grants Commission

(Online Courses or Programmes) Regulations, 2018 and its subsequent amendments,

Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur, Rajasthan has never been accorded any

recognition to offer programmes in Online mode by the UGC.
